The shape of quantum states
A set of all possible quantum states has an intricate geometry. Due to this fact, its properties are often hard to imagine. In this project, we aim to visualize the set by printing its three–dimensional projections — they help in understanding properties of the whole set and have application in statistical physics. In some cases, like that of qubit or qutrit states, it is possible to classify the resulting figures.
The project was part of a master thesis in quantum information theory by Konrad Szymański.
